To be precise about the line: An RP advises and prepares you; an RP does not certify or assess. Level 2 certification decisions belong to an authorized C3PAO, and Level 1 is self assessed and affirmed by your own senior official. Holding the credential does not make Custodia a Registered Provider Organization or a C3PAO, and it does not mean the Cyber AB endorses this platform.

What is a Cyber AB Registered Practitioner?+
Registered Practitioner (RP) is the Cyber AB credential for practitioners who advise organizations on CMMC. An RP is trained on the CMMC standard and the assessment process, and advises companies preparing for it.
Can a Registered Practitioner certify my company?+
No, and be careful of anyone who says otherwise. An RP advises and prepares you. CMMC Level 2 certification decisions belong to an authorized C3PAO, and Level 3 assessments are conducted by the government's DIBCAC team. CMMC Level 1 is self assessed and self affirmed by your own senior official in SPRS.
What will we actually cover?+
What your contract clauses require (FAR 52.204-21, and DFARS 252.204-7012 if controlled information is in play), whether that puts you at Level 1 or Level 2, what evidence you already have, and what the realistic path and timeline look like from where you are.
